Former Hills star Whitney Port has opened up about her struggles with disordered eating on her podcast, With Whit.

Amid concerns about her appearance and her husband Tim Rosenman's comments about her looking 'too thin,' Port admitted that she hasn't yet fully acknowledged having an eating disorder but plans to seek help from a nutritionist and an eating disorder specialist recommended by a friend.

Port attributed her recent weight loss to 'laziness and pickiness,' often leading her to go hungry without concern for proper nutrition.

She said, "I think, though, that is a type of disordered eating, Like, that’s not okay, that’s not healthy. I'm obviously not giving my body the nutrients it needs."

"So, I’m going to talk to someone and figure it out and figure out what I like and make sure that I’m making that a priority," she added.

In a podcast episode summary, Port reiterated her commitment to prioritizing her health and making it a long-term goal.

She emphasized the need for a balanced approach to exercise and healthy living while avoiding self-imposed pressure.

"I want to create an actual sustainable lifestyle for me that can be consistent without putting too much pressure on myself, But I find that it’s really hard once I put those challenges on myself to really stick with it." she said.

As Port takes proactive steps towards her well-being, her openness serves as a reminder of the importance of seeking support for eating disorders.

For those facing similar struggles, resources like the National Eating Disorders Association (NEDA) can provide assistance and guidance.
