Prince Harry receives support from an unexpected royal against ‘everybody’s bullying’
One royal family member has expressed that they feel 'very sorry' for Prince Harry
Prince Harry has dealt with his fair share of scrutiny and criticism ever since he stepped back from life in the royal family.
Now, a fellow royal has expressed concern for the Duke of Sussex, saying that he has “suffered so much”.
Princess Delphine of Belgium appeared on this week’s episode of the It’s Reigning Men podcast and voiced her support for the ex-working royal, specifically in connection with his mother, Princess Diana’s untimely tragic demise.
“I think Harry suffered so much, and I think he was traumatized, and it’s coming out now,” she said.
The 57-year-old princess further claimed that the Duke’s recent conflict about his security in the UK also has its roots in his mother’s death.
“I think there is this thing with security, I think it’s to do with what happened to his mother,” she claimed.
Elsewhere during the conversation, the Belgian princess even went as far as to say that she understands Harry.
“I understand the guy. He’s just traumatised. He’s doing these things, and everybody’s bullying him, but not thinking about his trauma, and I just find it terrible because I feel like he’s just been kind of left,” she shared.
Notably, Delphine has struggled with her own family, as the princess was unaware of her royal connections until the age of 18.
Her father, Belgium’s King Albert II, only conceded her right to a royal title after the princess had spent years fighting a legal battle which eventually resulted in a DNA test confirmation.
The January 2020 test results ensured her presence at various public events with the Belgian royal family ever since.
While 2020 was also the year when Prince Harry abandoned his role within the royal family and moved to the US, alongside Meghan Markle and their son, Prince Archie.
