Film Freddy featuring Kartik Aaryan and Alaya F will be released on OTT rather than the theatres.
As per the sources, the makers of the film have ditched the plan to release the film at the box office and instead take it to the OTT.
Freddy will now be released directly on Disney+ Hotstar. The OTT platform’s official Instagram handle announced the news.
Kartik, in the film, will be playing the role of Freddy. The film is directed by Shashanka Ghosh. It is going to be a romantic-thriller filled with lots and lots of twists and turns.
Aaryan, while talking about the film, said: “I feel fortunate to be a part of Freddy, the story of the film is something that I haven’t explored before. It has allowed me to experiment with my craft and explore a new territory. I’m looking forward to the movie releasing on Disney+ Hotstar soon and hoping the audience will love this new avatar.”
So far, the release date of the film has not been revealed.
On the work front, Kartik Aaryan has Shehzada, Satya Prem Ki Katha and Captain India in the pipeline, reports PinkVilla.
