Netflix’s ‘Untamed’ expands recurring cast with 7 new additions
Myra Molloy will portray Addy Hale, the youngest of the Hale Ranch lineage
The evolving cast roster of Netflix's popular series Untamed continues to grow with the inclusion of seven fresh faces: Myra Molloy (Girls Like Girls, He’s All That), Matthew Keoni Sato (Doogie Kameāloha, M.D.), Robbie Magasiva (Rescue: Hi-Surf, Wentworth), Branscombe Richmond (Wrecking Crew, Chief of War), Moronai Kanekoa (Rescue HI Surf), Joe Tippett (Monarch, The Morning Show), and Luciane Buchanan (Chief of War, The Night Agent).
Brought to life by Mark L. Smith and Elle Smith, Untamed is an engaging mystery-thriller centered around Kyle Turner (Eric Bana), a special agent with the National Parks Service who upholds human laws amidst nature's immense wilderness.
An investigation into a brutal death thrusts Turner into a confrontation with the park's hidden secrets and his own buried past.
In its upcoming second season, the storyline follows Turner as he is summoned to look into a puzzling demise at Hawai‘i Volcanoes National Park, where local unrest and the park's dynamic landscape intertwine unpredictably.
As shared earlier today, Moon Bloodgood and Kekoa Kekumano have joined as series regulars, collaborating with the previously introduced Shea Whigham. Kelly Hu is set to have a recurring role as Awapuhi.
Molloy will portray Addy Hale, the youngest of the Hale Ranch lineage, who harbors a rebellious spirit despite her family's conservative ethos. She becomes entangled in Turner’s homicide investigation.
Sato will embody the character Kaden Burkart. Kaden is committed to his family's enterprise, working alongside his father, Ray (Shea Whigham).
Magasiva will take on the role of Lt. Ochi, a veteran Hawai’i Police Lieutenant and superior to Pana.
Richmond will appear as Ikua Hale, the patriarchal figure and proprietor of Hale Ranch, which has been a family heirloom for six generations. He is wary of strangers.
Kanekoa will be seen as Ti Hale, a proud and protective wrangler on the Hale family property, struggling with his daughter Addy's wild tendencies.
Tippett will portray Casper Kane, a solitary wanderer constantly on the move. Skilled in wilderness survival, he is on a mission to make his mark.
Buchanan will characterise Ku’ulei Pana, a local native with deep-rooted connections, serving as the detective from Hawaii PD assigned to the murder case.
