Sabrina Carpenter calls 2026 Coachella performance as her 'most ambitious show'
2026's Coachella lineup includes lead performances from Justin Bieber, Karol G and Anyma
Sabrina Carpenter is geared up for Coachella.
The award-winning pop singer, now 26, had a chat with Marc Jacobs in a new cover interview for Perfect magazine and discussed her preparation for her star role at the 2026 Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival.
"This is the boldest performance I've ever undertaken," Carpenter noted as she looked forward to her April 10 and 17 shows at the festival.
"It's likely the most time I've spent just conceptualising a performance as I create it."
The "House Tour" artist continued, "Typically, you're hurriedly rushed into rehearsals, but this time we kicked off preparations seven months ago. It's been quite a journey and it will be truly unique."
Carpenter reflected on her initial appearance at Coachella in 2024. "That was an unforgettable day for me, the launch of my song ‘Espresso’. I was able to perform it for the first time at Coachella," she recalled. "And now, two years on, we're returning."
She went on, "And I feel this adds an extraordinary feeling to this show: celebrating every song released since and recognizing how far they've come since."
Besides Carpenter, this year's Coachella lineup includes lead performances from Justin Bieber, Karol G and Anyma.
Recently, Carpenter launched the music video for her popular Man's Best Friend single "House Tour."
The video features the singer along with Madelyn Cline and Margaret Qualley, who co-directed the video with Carpenter.
Coachella will be Carpenter's first major US performance since completing her Short n' Sweet Tour in November 2025 with a total of 72 shows.
