DJ Khaled reveals simple snack hack helping his weight loss transformation

DJ Khaled is blending business, family time, and a personal wellness journey, all while calling for “another one” in his latest collaboration with Buffalo Wild Wings.

The producer has teamed up with Buffalo Wild Wings to promote the return of its Bottomless Apps deal, available nationwide from April 7 through June 10.

In the new campaign, Khaled leans into his signature personality, repeatedly calling out “another one” as plates of appetizers arrive at the table.

Speaking to People, Khaled said the partnership worked because the brand embraced his identity, including his well-known phrases like “We the Best.” He added that the commercial gave him space to simply be himself.

“All the stuff that we did in the commercial, it was so beautiful because I was just being myself,” he said, noting that the experience felt natural and aligned with how he enjoys spending time with his children.

At home, Khaled shared that his go-to snack has taken a more health-conscious turn as he continues his weight-loss journey. Instead of indulgent foods, he now leans on a mix of spicy peppers and protein.

“It keeps you on your toes,” he said, adding that the approach has helped him stay consistent with his fitness goals. “That little pepper makes me avoid the rice.”

The producer also revealed that he has incorporated golf and walking into his daily routine, often completing up to 18 holes or at least 10,000 steps each morning.

“I do it every day,” he said. “That helped me tremendously with getting some of this weight off.”

Beyond health and work, Khaled also opened up about family life with his sons, Asahd Tuck Khaled and Aalam Khaled.

He described Asahd’s rising talent in basketball, noting that the 9-year-old is already playing at a competitive level, while Aalam is following closely behind with his own training.

“They’re my kids, but they’re also my best friends,” Khaled said, adding that family time is central to his daily life.

He also praised his fiancée Nicole Tuck for her hands-on involvement in their children’s education and routines, calling her “incredible” and deeply committed to their upbringing.

Khaled said his disciplined childhood, shaped by parents who worked tirelessly, continues to influence how he raises his own children, emphasizing hard work, structure, and a “champion mindset.”

“They’re busier than me,” he said, noting their packed schedule of sports, tutoring, and extracurricular activities.
