Zendaya’s hairstylist breaks down the volume-boosting trick behind her latest look
The actress’ hairstylist reveals the secret to fuller, red carpet-ready hair
Zendaya turned heads at the Euphoria season three premiere with a sleek, textured hairstyle, and now her hairstylist is revealing the simple formula behind the red carpet look.
Celebrity hairstylist Ursula Stephen shared that the standout style was created by “cocktailing” two essential products to achieve both structure and volume, particularly beneficial for thinner hair types.
According to Stephen, the look built on a wet-inspired aesthetic the actress has recently embraced, blending modern texture with a polished, high-gloss finish.
The key, she explained, was combining Moroccanoil’s hair oil with its molding cream to create what she described as a defined, “piecey” effect.
The dual-product technique not only enhanced shine but also added noticeable volume, a result often sought by those with fine or flat hair.
The molding cream, infused with argan oil, helped shape the style while maintaining hydration and flexibility across different hair conditions.
To refine the look, Stephen used a boar-bristle brush to gently detangle and separate strands, giving the hairstyle a more natural, tousled finish.
She then locked everything in place with a lightweight hairspray designed to hold without stiffness or residue.
The result was a red-carpet-ready hairstyle that balanced effortless texture with long-lasting hold—a combination that reflects Zendaya’s evolving beauty aesthetic.
