A man was pronounced dead, while officers discovered the child in a restroom at the airport, news sources reported, citing police information. The man had ended his life with a gunshot wound.
The child had been shot and succumbed to injuries after being transported to a medical facility, according to the investigation and media outlets.
Authorities revealed that the man and child, who are not identified in terms of relationship, were traveling when their vehicle broke down, leading them to attempt to rent a car at the airport, as reported by KUTV and 8 News Now.
