Kylie Jenner's lion head look sparks backlash

Kylie Jenner yet again made headlines – this time with her ultra-realistic lion head that she wore at the Paris Fashion Week but the public does not really like the look.

The model walked at the Schiaparelli Haute Couture Show at Paris Fashion Week and made sure to turn everyone’s heads.

The billionaire opted for a black gown and carried a lifelike lion’s head on her shoulders.

Kylie took to her Instagram page and documented her outfit which she captioned, " BEAUTY AND THE BEAST. thank you danielroseberry and schiaparelli for such a special morning. wow i loved wearing this faux art creation constructed by hand using manmade materials. beautiful beautiful."

She thanked Daniel Rose Berry, the creative director, and designer for Schiaparelli for the experience.

Also the brand also takes to the page to mention it is made from foam, wool, silk faux fur and hand painted to look as life as possible.

As soon as the pictures went viral, her outfit elicited a lot of reaction from fans online with many criticizing it.

One user took to Schiaparelli’s Instagram post to express her opinion in a nuanced manner. Her comment read, “We have to stop showing animals as luxury ‘products’. They may be made from foam but these are endangered species that have historically been killed for their pelts to be turned into garments.

Another user wrote under Kylie’s post, “Animals are not fashion accessories!”. A third netizen wrote that Kylie is “encouraging poaching."
