Joe Swash proudly calls himself husband in heartfelt note to Stacey Solomon amid marriage rumours
Joe Swash appears to have put to rest any rumours of marriage turmoil with wife Stacey Solomon
Joe Swash appears to have put to rest any rumours of marriage turmoil with his wife Stacey Solomon by sharing a heartfelt tribute on Instagram this past weekend.
The television star called himself a “proud husband” after accompanying Stacey at Britain’s Got Talent on Saturday night.
Stacey was present at the talent show with her golden buzzer act performing, after making an appearance as a guest judge during the auditions.
Joe attended the event with their children Rex, six, and Rose, four.
The children received special VIP treatment during the live semi-final, getting to sit in the judges' seats and even trying out the famous golden buzzer.
Sharing several photos from the event, Joe praised his wife on Instagram, stating: “I cherish opportunities like this with my loved ones.
Her kids got special VIP treatment with a backstage view of the show.
“The joy of the kids means the world. Proud of you, staceysolomon, you did incredibly well.
“Thank you for having us, BGT.”
Though Joe’s social media often features his wife and children, Stacey has not shared a post about him since January.
In fact, fans observed he has been absent from several recent updates, where she’s only highlighted her kids.
Returning to Instagram in April after stepping away for a month, Stacey shared a variety of photos featuring her kids, but none included Joe.
This follows reports from The Sun about “issues” in their marriage, noting how they never officially legalised their marriage.
Stacey and Joe threw an extravagant wedding at their historic £1.2million home in Essex, Pickle Cottage, in July 2022 and planned to register legally later — but almost four years later, it hasn’t happened.
Stacey explained on social media why she’s been seen without her engagement rings, mentioning she’s worried about losing them.
She made it clear she and Joe have been clear about their wedding plans all along, posting, “I mentioned we weren’t getting legally married and instead were having a blessing and ceremony at home with family and friends – planning to make it official later.”
The couple has built successful careers centered on their family image, including lucrative brand partnerships and a BBC reality show.
The network has renewed their show for a third season.
However, shooting for their family reality show paused because of household tensions, disrupting the filming schedule.
At Pickle Cottage, tensions became harder to handle off-camera, with sources stating, “there have been difficulties between Stacey and Joe.”
The show captures the blended family’s life, including their six kids, pets, and farm animals.
