Lainey Wilson stuns in custom Oscar de la Renta gown for Tennessee wedding
The country star married the former NFL player in Tennessee on May 10, 2026
Lainey Wilson is sharing new details about her wedding day — including a personal fashion first that marked a meaningful moment in her life.
The 33-year-old country star married former NFL player Devlin Hodges, known as “Duck” Hodges, in a ceremony held at The Ruskin in Dickson, Tennessee, on May 10, 2026.
For the occasion, Wilson stepped away from her signature denim style and wore a custom Oscar de la Renta gown and veil and revealed that it was the first time she had ever worn a dress.
“Feeling royal and confident in my dream dress and veil, made by the incredible Oscar de la Renta team,” she told Vogue. “First time wearing a dress and I caught the perfect breeze to show it off!”
The gown, created in collaboration with stylist Alexandra Mandelkorn and the Oscar de la Renta design team, featured delicate Japanese cherry blossom detailing along the neckline and throughout the fabric.
Wilson said the floral motif carried a deeper meaning for the couple’s big day.
“The cherry blossom represents living in the moment, and that’s exactly what we did,” she explained.
The Yellowstone star had previously hinted that her husband would likely see her in a dress for the first time on their wedding day, noting that she had never gone through the traditional experience of dress shopping.
Wilson and Hodges began dating in 2021 and got engaged in early 2025. Over the years, she has often spoken about how their relationship has helped her navigate the pressures of fame and touring life.
In her documentary Lainey Wilson: Keepin’ Country Cool, she described Hodges as a grounding presence in her life, saying he understood the realities behind her career and supported her through difficult moments on the road.
“He got to see behind the curtain,” she said. “He also knew how much went into doing this and how much I’ve dedicated my life to it.”
