Alix Earle reveals why she prefers more grounded and ‘experienced’ partner
The influencer admitted she prefers partners who feel more 'grounded' and mature
Alix Earle has opened up about her dating preferences, reflecting candidly on past experiences and what she looks for in a partner.
Speaking during a recent “Get Ready With Me” episode, the 25-year-old influencer discussed relationships and admitted she has struggled to connect with men her own age.
Earle said she previously went on a date with someone just a year older than her but quickly realized it was not the right fit.
“I went on a date with a guy who was a year older than me. I can't do it again. That's never happening,” she said.
The influencer explained that the dynamic felt unbalanced, adding that she sometimes felt as though she was taking on a more “guiding” role in the relationship. When asked if she felt like she was “mothering” in those situations, she agreed the experience felt off.
“It didn't feel like I was with, like, a man,” she said, noting that she prefers partners who come across as more “grounded” and “experienced.”
Earle’s friend Quenlin Blackwell also joined the discussion, sharing her own perspective on dating and maturity in relationships.
“As you age, you realise people aren't supposed to act like that,” Blackwell said during the episode, adding, “I don't date guys my age.”
Earle further joked that her preference can sometimes swing in the opposite direction, saying that when the age gap feels too wide, she ends up thinking, “Grandpa.”
The social media personality has previously been linked to former NFL quarterback Tom Brady after they were seen attending events together, including New Year’s Eve celebrations in St. Barths and Super Bowl weekend earlier this year.
