GTA 6 retail ad leak fuels buzz ahead of Rockstar’s summer reveal push
Rockstar has so far released only two cinematic trailers for GTA 6
An unauthorised advertisement for Grand Theft Auto VI has surfaced at a retail store in Dhaka, Bangladesh, fuelling speculation that early marketing activity for the highly anticipated game may already be underway ahead of Rockstar Games’ official campaign.
The ad was reportedly seen at a Dazzle store on May 23 and shared online by a Reddit user, showing promotional material for the upcoming title.
The sighting comes just days before Rockstar’s expected summer marketing push, which is anticipated to ramp up global promotion for the game.
While the appearance of the advertisement has not been confirmed as part of Rockstar’s official rollout, it has sparked debate online over whether the retailer acted independently or whether early marketing materials are beginning to circulate ahead of schedule.
Rockstar Games has remained highly secretive about GTA VI since its initial reveal, releasing only two cinematic trailers so far while withholding major gameplay and story details.
The company’s parent firm, Take-Two Interactive, recently confirmed during an earnings call that a full marketing phase is expected during the summer, including trailers, posters, and expanded promotional content across digital and retail platforms.
Industry observers believe this upcoming campaign will mark the most significant information release since the game’s announcement, ending months of speculation and leaks circulating across social media.
Despite ongoing rumours, Rockstar has not officially commented on the Dhaka advertisement or confirmed whether any early retail promotions are part of its global strategy.
GTA VI remains scheduled for release on November 19, 2026, and continues to be one of the most anticipated entertainment launches in gaming history.
