Ryan Edwards' wife Amanda Conner arrested for DUI with baby in the car

Amanda Conner faces a June 3 court date after her Sunday arrest on DUI and child neglect charges

Ryan Edwards' wife Amanda Conner arrested for DUI with baby in the car

Amanda Conner, wife of Teen Mom star Ryan Edwards, has been arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence with their infant daughter in the vehicle.

Conner was taken into custody on Sunday morning near Chattanooga, Tennessee, and booked on charges of driving under the influence and child abuse and neglect, TMZ reported. The outlet also reported that she faced an additional charge of driving on the wrong side of the road.

Husband called police over concerns she had left with the baby

A dispatch call from the incident, obtained by TMZ, reveals that a husband contacted police because he was concerned his wife had been using narcotics and had driven away with their baby in the car. No names were used in the call.

Conner's bond was reportedly set at $16,000, and she had not been released as of 4:30 p.m. local time on Sunday. Her court hearing has been scheduled for 3 June.

Edwards and Conner married in September 2025

Edwards, 37, and Conner, 35, began their relationship in September 2023, though the pair had known each other for years before they became a couple. They wed in September 2025, just a fortnight after Edwards finalised his divorce from his former wife, Mackenzie Standifer.

The couple share a one-year-old daughter, Presley. Edwards is also father to son Bentley, 17, whom he has with fellow Teen Mom star Maci Bookout, as well as two children from his marriage to Standifer — son Jagger, 7, and daughter Stella, 6.

Edwards' long history of legal trouble and substance abuse

Edwards has struggled with addiction and accumulated a series of run-ins with the law since he and Bookout first appeared on season one of 16 & Pregnant in 2009.

In March 2023, a judge ordered Edwards to seek treatment for substance abuse following his arrest on multiple charges involving Standifer.

Maci Bookout opened up about hitting a 'breaking point'

Bookout, 34, spoke candidly about the toll of Edwards' public struggles during an appearance on Page Six's Virtual Reali-Tea podcast in July 2023, revealing she had reached "a breaking point."

"Obviously, when things first went down with Ryan and him having to go to jail and making stupid decisions and stuff, I definitely had a breaking point then," she said.

She added, "But I think the [therapy] I had done previously … and just making sure that I check in with myself and that I give myself grace and that I let myself … fall apart and then pick myself back up is a game changer."

Bookout married her husband, Taylor McKinney, in October 2016. The couple share two children: daughter Jayde, 10, and son Maverick, 9.
