Rosie Huntington-Whiteley visits Pyramids of Giza on bucket-list trip with Jason Statham
The couple also visited the Grand Egyptian Museum during their trip
Model Rosie Huntington-Whiteley has described her recent trip to Egypt as a “lifelong dream,” sharing a series of images from her visit to the Pyramids of Giza alongside fiancé Jason Statham.
The model posted highlights from the journey on Instagram, reflecting on the experience and revealing that visiting the iconic ancient landmarks had been on her bucket list for years.
“The most incredible few days in Egypt. Visiting the Pyramids of Giza had been a lifelong dream,” she wrote, adding that the trip also included a visit to the Grand Egyptian Museum, where she viewed ancient artefacts up close.
“Seeing the extraordinary ancient artefacts up close at the Grand Egyptian Museum was truly special,” she added.
Huntington-Whiteley also noted that the trip carried an additional purpose, as the couple attended a major boxing event involving their friend, kickboxer Rico Verhoeven, who faced heavyweight champion Oleksandr Usyk.
Despite Verhoeven’s defeat, the model praised the fight as an unforgettable sporting spectacle.
“It was one of the most electric and unforgettable fights we’ve ever witnessed,” she wrote. “The discipline, heart and determination on display was incredibly inspiring. We are so proud of you, Rico.”
Verhoeven responded in the comments, thanking the couple for their support, while fans welcomed the pair to Egypt and praised their visit.
The Egyptian getaway comes amid reports that Huntington-Whiteley and Statham have been transitioning from their London home to a new countryside property near the New Forest National Park in England.
According to reports, the new residence sits on a 20-acre estate featuring a private beach, boating lake and pond.
In a previous interview with Vogue Australia, Huntington-Whiteley spoke about her desire for a quieter lifestyle, saying she had long dreamed of moving closer to nature.
“I’ve been dreaming of this since I left home. It will be mud and kids climbing trees. London on the weekends can feel very destination-driven. I want peace,” she said.
The couple, who share two children, previously lived in Malibu before relocating to London, where they spent time renovating a Georgian townhouse into their family home.
