Katie Price reveals emotional toll her husband’s Dubai jail battle has on her health

Katie Price has revealed the toll her husband Lee Andrews’ imprisonment in Dubai is taking on her health, admitting her weight has plummeted under the strain.

The Sun reported this week that Andrews, 43, must pay more than £100,000 to secure release from Al Awir Central Prison, where he is being held over a civil matter.

Opening up on social media, Price said: “I am so stressed at the minute. Look, I’m just losing weight. I actually look like Skeletor. Look at that gap.”

She added that while she is “good” emotionally, the stress and adrenaline are taking a visible toll on her body.

Price has visited the prison several times since arriving in Dubai, though her only contact with Andrews has been over the phone. She explained that he recently gave her permission to collect his belongings and phones, but she is still waiting on his lawyer to confirm if she can visit him in person.

“Time is running out,” she admitted, noting she is scheduled to leave Dubai on Friday.

A source told The Sun: “Katie is desperately trying to get Lee out of prison. Despite everything that’s gone on, Lee is her husband and Katie wants to get him out and get the answers she so badly needs.”

Andrews has assured Price he can raise the six‑figure sum himself, insisting she will not have to pay.

The ordeal follows weeks of turmoil after Andrews was initially reported missing in mid‑May before being discovered in jail. Price has since made repeated trips to Al Awir prison, determined to secure his release.
