Brandi Glanville details return of debilitating health issues on podcast

Brandi Glanville is once again opening up about ongoing health struggles, revealing that symptoms she previously believed had resolved have returned.

The former Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star, 53, discussed her condition on her Brandi Glanville Unfiltered podcast, where she admitted she is still searching for answers after years of medical uncertainty.

“I don’t know what’s wrong with me, guys,” Glanville said. “I thought I was fixed, and then it happened again, and now it’s sinking in again.”

Glanville has previously described dealing with what she believed to be a facial parasite, later suggesting her symptoms may have been linked to complications from ruptured breast implants and a resulting infection.

However, she said her health issues have not fully resolved.

The reality star said she has consulted numerous doctors but has yet to receive a definitive diagnosis.

She also noted that only limited methods appear to provide temporary relief.

“The only thing that really seems to help is being out in the sun and the parasite medication and the parasite diet,” she said.

“And I don’t have answers. Is there a doctor that specialises in parasites? Because I can’t find one.”

Despite the challenges, Glanville said speaking publicly about her experience has connected her with others facing similar symptoms.

She mentioned meeting two friends through her podcast who she says share comparable health concerns.

“We all have the same exact symptoms,” she said, adding that they had histories of extensive dental work and past exposure to black mold.

Glanville has been candid about the toll her health issues have taken on her personal life and confidence.

Earlier this year on the I Do, Part 2 podcast, she said she felt she had “lost everything,” including her career opportunities, reputation, and self-image.

“I haven’t had sex in three years, the whole time I’ve been sick, because I lost my confidence,” she said. “I feel like I lost everything at once.”

During that period, Glanville said she largely isolated herself, staying close only to her sons, Jake and Mason, whom she shares with ex-husband Eddie Cibrian.

She also detailed the extensive medical efforts she has undertaken over the years, saying she has seen dozens of specialists and spent significant amounts of money seeking answers.

“I went to 21 doctors,” she said. “It cost $200,000. I had insurance, but I was paying out of pocket to see specialists, infectious disease doctors, rheumatologists — every doctor you can think of.”

Glanville said her symptoms began suddenly and have included physical and cognitive effects.

“It came on overnight,” she said, describing fatigue, brain fog, and unexplained physical changes.
