Adele and Ed Sheeran refuse to perform for King Charles at coronation

The pop stars Adele and Ed Sheeran will reportedly not be there at King Charles 111 coronation procession in May and have clearly refused.

As per The Mail, Charles wanted Adele to deliver her soothing vocals at the ceremony and even made this known to his team of organizers. But now the question is what exactly made the Easy on Me singer give up .

Sources close to Sheeran claim that he is busy and so will not be available to grace the event in Windsor Castle.

The Shape of You hit-maker has a show in Texas on May 6 just a day before the coronation but reports suggest that the singer could still make it if he takes a private jet and reaches the place through 9-hour flight while Adele has no scheduled gigs after March 25 .

"The King has suggested a number of people he would like to perform and Adele and Ed were on that list. He was very keen that they were part of the concert,'' an insider quotes.

It further adds, "There is a team set up to get the talent signed up but they were unavailable, which was a massive disappointment. They are titans of the showbiz industry and are quintessentially British but also known across the globe. It's such a shame."
