Jason Bateman recalls getting arrested in Monaco while wearing a leopard outfit

Actor Jason Bateman is opening up about a wild night from his past, revealing that he was once arrested in Monaco. Speaking on the July 20 episode of his SmartLess podcast alongside co-hosts Will Arnett and Sean Hayes, Bateman recalled being taken into custody for drunk and disorderly conduct. He jokingly described his arrest outfit as a nice little leopard ensemble, fresh off a night at the casinos filled with cheap champagne and gambling chips.

While the actor did not specify when the arrest occurred, he has been consistently open about his past struggles and his journey toward sobriety. Reflecting on his younger days, Bateman noted how grateful he feels to have grown up in an era before social media and camera phones. He acknowledged that while he managed to avoid public exposure at the time, things certainly came close on more than a few occasions.
