The couple revealed that their 8-year-old son, Isaiah, was recently diagnosed with type 1 diabetes. Catherine shared in an emotional Instagram post that their pediatrician caught warning signs during an annual checkup, including an 11-pound weight loss, excessive thirst, and frequent bathroom trips.

Although Isaiah was otherwise healthy and active, the alarming test results prompted an immediate emergency room visit. Their young son spent four days in the hospital undergoing treatment while adjusting to new routines and injections. Despite the major lifestyle change, the family remained resilient, finding comfort in hospital visits from his siblings, playing with Legos, and resting with his favorite teddy bears.
