George Kittle calls Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce's wedding a 'family affair'
San Francisco 49ers tight end George Kittle shared new details about attending Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce's wedding, describing the celebration as a memorable "family outing" after the singer personally invited both his and his wife's parents.
Speaking on the Unbuttoned podcast, Kittle said he and wife Claire had "so much fun" celebrating the couple's July 3 wedding in New York City.
Taylor Swift invited Kittle's parents after Tight End University
Kittle revealed that his parents, Bruce Kittle and Jill Krieger, along with Claire's mother, Shelly Till, were invited after Swift spent time with them during Tight End University, the annual event co-founded by Kittle and Kelce.
According to Kittle, Kelce had already formed a friendship with his father, while Swift got to know the mothers during last year's gathering.
"She just really liked them," Kittle said, adding that it turned the wedding into a special family experience.

Following the ceremony, George and Claire Kittle congratulated the newlyweds in a joint Instagram post featuring photos from the event.
"It was a family affair. Congratulations on finding your exclamation point! JusT&T Married ❤️ we love y'all!" they wrote.
The post included pictures of the couple dressed for the wedding, along with photos featuring Kittle's parents.
NFL star had no idea where wedding would take place
Before the ceremony, Kittle admitted he had no idea where Swift and Kelce planned to marry.
Speaking to reporters during the Tight Ends & Friends concert in Nashville in June, he joked that he expected to be taken to a mystery destination.
"I actually asked Travis last night and he laughed at me," Kittle said at the time. "I'm half expecting there just to be a jumbo jet on the runway and they put us on a plane somewhere."
Despite not knowing the venue in advance, Kittle said he was confident the celebration would be "amazing"—a prediction he later said proved to be true.
