Usher halts viral fan moment after awkward onstage reaction

Usher's signature fan interaction took an unexpected turn during his Nashville concert on Saturday after a woman brought onstage appeared visibly uncomfortable with the singer's flirtatious performance.

Videos circulating on social media showed the shirtless singer serenading the fan, lightly touching her face and chin as part of the routine. When Usher gestured for her to recline on the stage bed, she stepped back instead of joining in.

Realising the moment was not landing as intended, Usher turned to the crowd and asked, "I don't think she want to be on the stage, huh?" before signalling for crew members to escort the fan offstage and continuing the show with another audience member.

The woman later addressed the incident on social media, saying she had no intention of turning down the chance to go onstage.

"First off NOBODY is declining to go on stage," she wrote, adding that she wanted to enjoy the experience and had not known she would be participating in Usher's interactive performance.

She also responded to criticism over her reaction, insisting she was not being rude and asking people to stop judging her over a brief moment from the concert. In a later post, she shared selfies captioned "Unbothered" and said online comments would not affect her.
