Authorities in Florida have released new photos of a fugitive murder suspect's tattoos as the search for her continues nearly a month after a man's body was found buried in a shallow grave.
The Walton County Sheriff's Office shared close-up images of identifying tattoos belonging to 38-year-old Isabelle Rose Johnson, who is wanted on suspicion of murder in connection with the death of Jason Christopher Coulthart.
Authorities highlight tattoos and aliases
Investigators said Johnson may have altered her appearance by cutting or dyeing her hair to avoid capture.
The sheriff's office said she is believed to have a rose or flower tattoo on her left hand, a tattoo on her right ankle and a large scorpion tattoo stretching from her left buttock down her left thigh.
Authorities also released a photo of a large tattoo of a winged creature covering much of her back, noting it could be visible if she is wearing a tank top.
Johnson is also known to use multiple aliases, including Harley, Jessica Elaine Bowman, Jessica Elaine Thrush, Jessica Elaine Thrash, Jessica Dowdy and possibly Denise.
The sheriff's office said she is known to manipulate people into providing transportation, money or other assistance through sympathy-based stories.
Reward offered as search continues
The tattoo images were released days after authorities announced a reward of up to $16,000 for information leading to Johnson's arrest.
The sheriff's office had previously released several photos showing Johnson with different hairstyles to help the public identify her.
Five other people have also been charged with accessory after the fact to a capital felony in connection with the case.
Victim's body found in shallow grave
Coulthart was reported missing on May 24 after he was last seen leaving the College Condominiums in Niceville, Florida.
On June 25, investigators located his remains buried in a shallow grave on a property in Freeport. According to previous reports, the grave had been covered with concrete and concealed beneath a black Cadillac.
Authorities later confirmed the victim's identity through DNA testing.
The investigation remains ongoing as law enforcement continues its search for Johnson.
