Priyanka Chopra reveals peers' reaction when she signed film 'Fashion'

Priyanka Chopra has recalled how people reacted when she signed on to do the film Fashion.

In her conversation with Youtuber Prajakta Koli, the 40-year-old actress revealed that people around her trolled her for signing the Madhur Bhandarkar’s film. She said that people told her it could be a career killer.

As quoted by News18, she said: “When I did Fashion, people told me that female actors only do such films like this at the end of their careers, when they want to win national awards and because no male hero wants to work with them.”

“I was just three-four years into movies when I did Fashion, and everyone told me that I wouldn’t get another job if this film fails. I didn’t know any better,” the Bollywood actress added.

Fashion is a tale of a small-town girl who wishes to become a supermodel. Apart from Priyanka, Kangana Ranaut, Mugdha Godse, Arjan Bajwa, and Kitu Gidwani are also featured in the 2008 released film.
