Abrar-ul-Haq expresses his regret for participating in London concert

Renowned singer Abrar-ul-Haq has apologized for participating in a concert in London after his resignation from politics.

The former member of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI), in his latest interview, acknowledged the criticism he received and said that “If Pakistanis are not happy, I shouldn’t be in London.”

The Nach Punjaban singer explained that the concert was scheduled months before his quitting PTI.

He further clarified that the concert was organized as a charity event under the banner of Sahara Trust.

“I didn't realise that I could not convince them that the activity was for a hospital. We have a registered charity there, it will close. Many people said that I should not have done so,” the singer said.

He continued: “Some people also said that I should have followed through with my commitment. Both sides are right, because on one hand, there is a big cause, and on the other -"

Abrar-ul-Haq added: "Today, my people are upset with me. I want to ask them what I can do for them. I am worried about this. I have merely presented my case to them, but I am very hurt."

PTI supporters mobbed the Preetu singer after his performance in London, according to Express News.

Due to the heated exchanges and physical altercations, the authorities called the police to control the chaotic situation.
