Anumta Qureshi reveals harrowing details about her in-laws never-ending abuse
Anumta Qureshi stated she suffered domestic violence at the hands of her mother in-law
Actress Anumta Qureshi suffered intense torture and insult at the hands of her mother-in-law.
In a slew of Instagram posts, the actor opened up about all the pain and how unhappy she is.
"There is this stereotype of a mother-in-law and daughter-in-law not getting along, interactions filled with tensions, discord and conflict. I get it, really I do but what I experienced from my mother-in-law was far beyond a stereotype or what any person should tolerate,” she wrote.
The Suno Chanda star then stated how her mother-in -law insulted her each day, “i endured decades of physical and verbal abusive comments, interactions and hostile behavior.”
“She gangs up with her sister and they together abuse me and my family members."
Anumta then continued to highlight their ill-treatment, "i most of the time of starve as they hide the rashan in the house that is bought from my own money, they do not even care that I am a nursing mom."
The Kaisa Hai Naseeban actress also related her distress and how she cries each day.
"Just today my mother-in-law rushed towards me, took the bowl out of my hand and proclaimed that her son has married a whore, screamed at the top of her lungs abusing my mother and sisters just because we have decided to move out of this toxic house."
Anumta cannot be more than thankful to her husband Sarang for standing firm on her side during trying times.
