'The Witcher' season 4 impacted by SAG AFTRA strike, Liam Hemsworth cast as new Geralt

Adding to the disappointment, Henry Cavill, who brilliantly portrayed the lead character Geralt of Rivia in the first three seasons, has officially bid farewell to the series. 

Australian actor Liam Hemsworth has been chosen to take over the role of Geralt, leaving fans curious about this new iteration of the beloved character.

While Netflix had initially planned to begin filming Season 4 in September of this year, the current labor disputes have thrown those plans into disarray. 

The fate of the production and the potential release date are now uncertain due to the SAG AFTRA strike's ongoing impact.
