Priscilla Presley shares insights into her ‘relationship’ with ex-husband Elvis Presley

Priscilla Presley opened up about her relationship with late ex-husband Elvis Presley and revealed that she "never had sex with him" at 14.

During a conversation with Variety, the Elvis Presley: The Searcher starlet shared, "People think, ‘Oh, it was sex.’ No, it wasn’t. I never had sex with him."

She further added, "He was very kind, soft, and loving, but he also respected that I was only 14 years old. We were more in line in thought, and that was our relationship."

The 78-year-old artist also mentioned that it was "difficult" for her parents to understand the relationship between the couple.

Priscilla continued, "It was very difficult for my parents to understand that Elvis would be so interested in me and why. And I really do think it’s because I was more of a listener."

Before the screening of Sofia Coppola’s Priscilla, the veteran actress got emotional while addressing the press  at the Venice Film Festival.

The American businesswoman remarked, "Elvis would pour his heart out to me in every way in Germany: his fears, his hopes, the loss of his mother — which he never, ever got over."

"I was the person who really, really sat there to listen and to comfort him," she exclaimed.

Priscilla looked back at her relationship and revealed that even at the age of 14 she was "older" and wiser.

She mused, "That was really our connection. Even though I was 14, I was actually a little bit older in life — not in numbers. That was the attraction."

The mother of two exclaimed that she had no idea why her late partner had "so much trust" in her.

"I didn’t know why he put so much trust in me, but he did. And I never, ever, ever told anyone that I was seeing him, and that was another issue that he loved is the fact that I never gave him up in any way."

A biographical drama movie Priscilla which is based on the life of romantic duo Elvis Presley and Priscilla Presley will release on October 27, 2023.
