G. Marimuthu passed away on September 8, 2023 after suffering from a heart attack

Jailer actor and Indian filmmaker G. Marimuthu passed away on Friday due to a heart attack while dubbing for a TV serial at the age of 56.
On Friday, Marimuthu was filming a television serial called Ethir Neechal when he experienced a severe chest pain and was rushed to nearby Surya Hospital.
According to Johnson, a public relations professional working in the South film industry, the God Father actor was pronounced dead at the hospital where left the Tamil cinema mourning.
Taking to X, he wrote, "Shocking... director-actor Marimuthu passed away now at 8.30 am. Due to cardiac arrest. RIP Marimuthu."
In another tweet, he revealed, "It has been confirmed that actor Marimuthu (56) who was dubbing for Ethir Neechal serial this morning suddenly fainted and was taken to the nearby Surya Hospital, where he died due to chest pain..."
Marimuthu’s fans started flooding social media to pay tribute to the late actor-director.
A fan wrote on X, "Deeply saddened to hear about the untimely demise of the versatile actor Marimuthu. His recent blockbuster was Jailer."
"He was a superstar on both the big and small screens. A tremendous loss for our industry. May his soul rest in peace," another one paid tribute to the late actor.

The Indian television actress Raadhika Sarathkumar recalled working with late actor G Marimuthu and send condolences to his family.
Taking to X she wrote, "So sad and shocked to hear of his passing of Marimuthu have worked with him a man with talent, gone so soon. Condolences to his family."
The Tamil actor-director was recently seen in the Nelson Dilipkumar blockbuster hit Jailer.
