WhatsApp is becoming more and more advance every passing day, it has now brought new feature for the celebrities and their fans.
The social networking site has expanded Channels, its Telegram-like feature to show updates from the creators, organizations, and brands.
As per Meta announcement, the feature functional in over 150 countries, with "thousands" of celebrities and public figures becoming a part of it.
The new feature of Channels, which is different from text messaging, can be followed by users of WhatsApp.
WhatsApp channels have been made available in Columbia and Singapore as part of its initial launch in June.
The new feature of updates will enable admins of the Channels to edit their posts, including an enhanced directory.
Under this new feature users can also discover Channels filtered by country and other metrics like determining how many followers they have and their online activity.
Channels feature will also let users react to their shared posts with the emojis.
Many big celebrities and giants have already launched their channels, including OTT platforms like Netflix, the well-known names on Channels are musicians Olivia Rodrigo, David Guetta, and football clubs such as Liverpool FC, Everton, FC Barcelona and Real Madrid.
