On the whimsical occasion of their wedding, the all-rounder wrote a touching note for his daughter as she embarked on the new venture of her life with Shaheen.
Taking to X (previous Twitter), the 46-year-old shared the adorable clicks along with the caption, “Aya tha ghar mai noor abhi kal ki baat hai, Rukhsat bhi ho raha hai wo ankhoon kay samnay, dooba howa bhi hai teray baba ka dil magar, umeede subah nau issey ayi hai thamnay”
The glamorous affair of the second eldest daughter of the former captain of the national cricket team was graced by the attendance of numerous renowned cricket players, among them being the Pakistan national cricket team's leader, Babar Azam, and the wicketkeeper-batsman Mohammad Rizwan.
It's worth noting that Lala organized a close-knit Mehndi gathering at his residence on Monday evening, just one day prior to his daughter's wedding to Shaheen. This was followed by a family dinner.
In the meantime, it is reported that Shaheen's family is planning to hold the Walima reception in Islamabad on September 21.
Shaheen and Ansha got engaged in 2021, a fact confirmed by both families.
The twosome tied the knot in an intimate nikkah ceremony in February this year, attended by close friends, family, and teammates.
