Prince Harry seems to bear the harsh consequences of rejecting his father, King Charles’ olive branch offer to stay at Balmoral Castle. As per the reports, the Duke of Sussex has now been told to "ask permission" if he wishes to stay on any of the Royal Estate in the future.

Reports also suggested that Prince Harry, who recently attended the Invictus Games in Germany, must now give notice if he wants to visit the British monarch and stay at any royal properties.

The latest reports emerged after the duke was denied a room at Windsor Castle earlier this month.

For the uninitiated, Prince Harry, 39, traveled to London for the WellChild Awards at the start of the month and expressed his wish to stay at Windsor so he could visit the Queen's resting place at St George's Chapel the following day.

At the same moment, King Charles III was staying at Balmoral to mark the anniversary of Queen Elizabeth's death.

Later, reports emerged that Harry was denied his request on the grounds that no properties were available on short notice.

Prince Harry denied stay at Windsor Castle:

Following Harry’s request, Buckingham Palace revealed that the Duke would have to put in a 'formal request' to see his father during his visit.

However, it is unclear if King Charles was aware of this correspondence.

Meanwhile, The Telegraph confirmed that Harry will still be allowed to stay at properties in Windsor, but only if 'suitable warning' is given.

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle latest appearance:

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex made a surprise public appearance at Kevin Costner's 'One805 Live!' charity event for first responders on Friday, in Santa Barbara.

Harry and Meghan were joined by their pals Oprah Winfrey and Ellen DeGeneres at the event. The Duke looked dapper in black while Meghan opted for a classy, chic look, in a monochrome jacket.
