Max Verstappen single handedly crowned Red Bull with 2023 Constructors' Champion

F1 driver Max Verstappen has fired back at critics with a 19-second victory in the Japanese GP and crowned Red Bull with 2023 Constructors' Champion.
In Singapore GP Max broke his consecutive win streak and got trolled by Mercedes fans for getting 5th position.
On Sunday, the RB driver shut down the critics and trolls by winning podium with a 19-second margin.
As reported by BBC Sport, the two times world champion said, “Honestly, yeah, we had a bad weekend [in Singapore]. Of course then people start talking about… 'ah, it's all because of the technical directives'. I think they can go suck on an egg.”
“I was just very fired up to have a good weekend here and make sure that, yeah, we were strong,” he added.
Christian Horner sings praise for Max Verstappen:
Christian Horner, the team principal of Red Bull, appreciated Max Verstappen and shared that the renowned driver loves the Suzuka “circuit.”
Christian told the media outlet, “I played padel tennis with Max on Wednesday, and he was properly fired up, and made it clear. He said: 'I want to win the race by 20 seconds.' And in fairness he came within 0.7secs of achieving that.”
Recalling the race, he mentioned that the Dutch driver was 1.7 seconds quicker than the rest of the field on medium or soft tyres.
The former driver also acknowledged that Max was totally “focused” on the event.
“It is a circuit he loves and enjoys. It is one of the ultimate driver circuits as a test around here. It was an outstanding performance. Max is absolutely at the top of his game. He's the best driver in F1 at this point in time and everything has to come together - car, driver, team in total harmony,” Christian concluded.
