Prince Harry and Meghan Markle continue to make headlines all over the media following their recent public appearances and major Royal Family snubs.
However, it has been reported that ‘Harry’ and ‘Meghan’ baby names popularity is on the decline among new parents amid the Sussex couple’s royal drama following their move to the U.S.
According to BabyCentre, the names Harry and Meghan have dropped from 13th place to 23rd - having previously seen a huge boost in popularity among new parents.
The reports indicate that after months of Harry and Meghan being accused of causing trouble within the Royal Family, the names may now have negative connotations.
It was observed after the Duke and Duchess of Sussex made shocking revelations including when Meghan and Harry claimed a member of the family made racist remarks about her unborn son.
Moreover, Harry's tell-all memoir Spare in which he wrote about losing his virginity, taking drugs and killing people during his time in the Armed Forces also left negative impact.
Prince Harry and Meghan Markle continued to attack royal family as they aired their explosive and controversial Netflix docuseries – Harry and Meghan - documenting their exit from the family.
Following the baby name findings, BabyCentre wrote, "Crashing down from 13th place to number 23, the previously popular name Harry seems to have had a negative reception from parents this year. Meghan and alternate spelling Megan have also dropped in registrations", via the New York Post.
