FANTASY BOYS’ K-Soul takes break to care for ailing father and grandmother
FANTASY BOYS' 10 members will continue their music activities without K-Soul
FANTASY BOYS member K-Soul has paused all music activities to take care of his sick father and grandmother.
K-Soul’s music agency, PocketDol Studio, announced on October 1, 2023 that the K-pop artist will be going on a temporary hiatus due “his father’s and maternal grandmother’s health.”
The South Korean entertainment company announced, “Hello, this is PocketDol Studio...First, we would like to thank you for supporting and loving FANTASY BOYS.”
“We apologize for conveying sudden news to the fans as we make this announcement regarding FANTASY BOYS member K-Soul halting his activities. Recently, K-Soul went to China due to the worsening of his father’s and maternal grandmother’s health,” the statement continued.
K-Soul wanted to "remain by his family's side" in China as his dad's and maternal grandmother's health continued to deteriorate.
PocketDol Studio mentioned, “Our agency respects our artist’s opinion, and after plenty of discussion with the other members, it has been decided that K-Soul will temporarily be visiting China in order to focus on his family.”
The Korean boy band FANTASY BOYS will continue their music activities with the remaining 10 members.
Bandi, FANTASY BOYS’ fandom name, were requested to understand the crucial situation and cooperate with the management.
“Once again, we apologize for worrying fans with this sudden news, and we pray that K-Soul will be able to return soon after his family situation is resolved,” the statement concluded.
FANTASY BOYS is a group of 11 members who survived the reality competition show My Teenage Boy: Fantasy Boys. The band consists of Minseo, K-Soul, Hanbin, Hikari, Ling Qi, Hikaru, Wooseok, Sungmin, Hyeontae, Gyurae, and Kaedan.
