Sajal Aly and Wahaj Ali's highly anticipated ZEE5 web series The Pink Shirt is all set to premiere at London Film Festival on October 27, 2023.
The official Instagram account of the event has made the exciting announcement on Sunday, confirming the premiere of The Pink Shirt in the Series Special Presentation Segment of LFF.
This latest update comes a few days after the producer and writer of The Pink Shirt , Shailja Kejriwal shared a behind the scene picture of Sajal and Wahaj on her Instagram account, relishing a corn.
“Sharing some corn today! Will share some super thrilling news in a [couple] of weeks!” read the caption alongside the post.

Shailja also mentioned the title of her highly anticipated series in the caption, the photo sparked fans' excitement at that time.
In addition to this, Shailja also shared another click from the set of The Pink Shirt to her Instagram Stories, in which the Kuch Ankahi actress and the Mujhe Pyar Hua Tha actor were seen indulged in an intense conversation while sitting on the grass.
“[Sajal Aly] and [Wahaj Ali] debating! When to share the news!” wrote the Indian writer in the caption.
The Pink Shirt, revolves around Sameer and Sophia, who cross each others' paths while they were dwelling on the respective struggles of their personal lives.

The official synopsis of The Pink Shirt states, "In one of her solitary errands planned to ward off the haunting memories of her priggish husband, Sameer; Sophia runs into a young businessman, Umer, who too seems to be running away from an over-conscientious fiancé, Sara."
This upcoming web-series will mark Sajal Aly and Wahaj Ali's first project together.
