David Beckham took a hilarious swipe at his wife, Victoria Beckham, for her description of their family as "working-class" during the episode of Netflix's new four-part documentary Beckham.

The Spice Girl alum candidly discussed her and David's humble family backgrounds, describing them as "very working class." However, during her interview, David playfully interjected, poking his head into the room, and jokingly challenged her honesty.

"I am being honest," Victoria responded, but David wasn't entirely convinced. He quizzed her, asking, “What car did your dad drive you to school in?”

After a playful exchange about the car's specifics, Victoria eventually admitted, "OK, in the '80s, my dad had a Rolls Royce."

The Inter Miami CF co-founder, grinning, responded with a "Thank you" before exiting the room.

The humorous exchange between this power couple has set social media abuzz, with fans flocking to express their witty responses on X (former Twitter).

One penned the funny response, “Victoria Beckham’s father *drove* his Rolls Royce which means he was working class”

Another added, “‘Victoria Beckham: “We come from a working class family.’ David Beckham hearing this 200 meters away:”

The third wrote, “Rich people pretending to be working class are awful.”

The fourth wrote, “0mg I just fell in love with David Beckham

Victoria Beckham trying to hide the fact her dad owned a Rolls Royce & she went to an expensive school but pretending she’s “working class” what a lying trollop”

For the unversed, the docuseries, released on October 4 shows David’s rise to fame and fortune as well as his relationship with wife Victoria and children.

Beckham is currently streaming on Netflix.
