Angelina Jolie channels vintage Hollywood charm as Maria Callas in new ‘Maria’ set pictures

Angelina Jolie has left fans spellbound with her stunning transformation into the iconic opera singer Maria Callas for her upcoming biopic Maria.

The Eternals actress, 48, looked effortlessly gorgeous in the latest pictures from the set of the upcoming film – based on the life of American-born Greek soprano Maria Callas.

Angelina Jolie appeared in good spirits as she stepped out in Greece for the shooting of the latest biopic. Carrying the classic vintage Hollywood charm, the Wanted actress oozed glamor as she wore Maria's renowned 50s hairdo.

In the pictures, obtained via DailyMail on Saturday, Jolie looked stunning as she opted for classic jewelry that perfectly complemented her blue satin robe. She finished off the look with a designer bag and black sunglasses.

Angelina was clicked while arriving on a boat in Athens. She looked relaxed as cameras caught her smiling and laughing with crew on the sets.

Angelina Jolie will be playing iconic opera singer Maria Callas in upcoming biopic Maria. The film, which follows follow the turbulent life and legacy of the American-Greek singer, is directed by Pablo Larraín.

The Tomb Rider star expressed her emotions on playing Maria and said, “I take very seriously the responsibility to Maria's life and legacy.”

Angelina, who will be wearing some of Callas' real clothes in the film, further added, “I will give all I can to meet the challenge.”

“To be allowed the chance to tell more of Maria's story with him, and with a script by Steven Knight, is a dream,” the mother-of-six shared.
