Netflix highly-anticipated live-action adaptation of Avatar: The Last Airbender is generating immense reaction and excitement among fans as it provides a sneak peek into the characters' first look.

The first looks of Iroh, Azula, and Fire Lord Ozai offered a glimpse into the world of bending, conflict, and redemption, promising an immersive and faithful rendition of the beloved series.

Taking to Instagram, the  Netflix Official shared the images of looks along with the caption, "the fire nation has arrived. meet fire lord ozai, general iroh, princess Azula, and commander Zhao in AVATAR: THE LAST AIRBENDER, coming in 2024."

Similar to the animated version, the show centers around Aang, the last airbender, as he undergoes training to fulfill his role as the Avatar and restore peace to a war-torn world, caused by the Fire Nation.

Albert Kim serves as the series' showrunner and executive producer, while Jabbar Raisani, Dan Lin, Lindsey Liberatore, and Michael Goi also hold executive producer roles.

Both Raisani and Goi also take on directorial duties for the series. Roseanne Liang is another director and co-executive producer, with Jet Wilkinson also working as a director.

Fans reaction on  Avatar: The Last Airbender:

The characters' new appearances in the live-action adaptation of Avatar: The Last Airbender have ignited a massive reaction from fans.

The preview of the character's appearance sparked mixed reactions on the internet, with some netizens expressing disappointment with the character's look.

One user wrote about Azula’s look, “azula doesn’t look mean enough”

Another penned the remark, “bruh azula has sharp features not a soft baby face”

Despite the promising images from the series, there are fans who maintain their optimism for the series.

The fan commented, “This looks WAY more promising than that-which-must-not-be-named lol”

“I have hope since One Piece turned out so well. Go get it Netflix, I have my eyes on you,” the other added.

About Avatar: The Last Airbender:

Avatar: The Last Airbender is scheduled for a Netflix debut in 2024. Although the specific release month remains undisclosed, viewers can anticipate the arrival of this exciting series at some point within that year. 

The debut season of the live-action adaptation of Last Airbender will comprise eight episodes.
