Shah Rukh Khan starring ‘Dunki’ first poster and global release date sent internet into frenzy

Shah Rukh Khan, who is currently basking in the success of his blockbuster hit action film Jawan, has sparked a new wave of excitement among fans with a major announcement on his upcoming film Dunki.

The King Khan of Bollywood will be ruling the big screens once again in director Rajkumar Hirani’s comedy-drama Dunki, which is set to release around Christmas this year.

On Thursday, the first-look poster of Dunki was unveiled on social media, leaving the internet in a frenzy. The announcement also revealed that Dunki will have its international release on December 21.

The exciting announcement confirmed that Dunki will be released to overseas markets on December 21, just a day before hitting theatres in India.

Dunki poster featured the backside of Shah Rukh Khan's character - dressed in a soldier's attire and holding a camouflaged bag and other stuff in his hands. In front of him, there is a huge plain desert.

The upcoming, highly-anticipated film also marks the first collaboration of SRK and Rajkumar Hirani. Besides Shah Rukh Khan, Dunki also stars Taapsee Pannu, Dia Mirza, Boman Irani, Dharmendra, Satish Shah, Parikshit Sahni and Vicky Kaushal (in a cameo).

According to the film’s official synopsis, it is based on an illegal immigration technique called Donkey Flight. Dunki will be released in theatres in India on December 22 this year.
