Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson rejoices his mom’s 75th birthday with heartfelt song

Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson offered a peek into a sweet moment he shared with his mother Ata Johnson, on her 75th birthday on Wednesday, October 25, 2023.

Taking to his Instagram account on Thursday, the Black Adam actor shared an adorable video of him standing next to his mom with a beautiful garland in his hand.

The video featured Ata in an emotional state, while playing the guitar a few minutes prior to the former wrestler starts singing.

“Don’t start crying…you are crying…” says the Fast X actor to his mom, to which she responded saying, “I want to sing.”

The San Andreas actor then starts singing “happy birthday sweet 16,” and his corrects him for her age, and the mother-son duo burst into laughter.

“I am terrible at math,” quipped Johnson as his mother praises him and says, “you also grew up before my very own eyes too.”

Johnson than gives Ata a warm hug while placing the garland around her neck, and they both kept laughing until the video concludes.

“Before I even start singing to my mom her special Happy Birthday song, she starts to cry

Probably because I always sing in keys that don’t exist,” the Moana actor wrote in the caption alongside the video.

He added, “HAPPY BIRTHDAY MOM!!!, 75 years of experience, wisdom, hard times, good times, laughter, mana, and yet thru it all — you TRULY have the KINDEST HEART I have ever known. I feel like the luckiest son on earth. Happy Birthday Mom, Ou Te Alofa Ia Te Oe.”

Fans of the Snitch actor also poured in love and best wishes for Johnson's mother on her special day.

One fan wrote, “Happy birthday mom you raised an amazing individual honestly one of the finest gentleman in this world.”

While another wrote, “She’s simply the best! Happy Birthday Ata! We love you!”

“Mama’s babies sangin’ EVERYWHUR! Always standin’ by :) HB to your Mom!!” a third commented.

A fourth noted, “Happy Birthday to your mom! Your both very lucky!”
