Priscilla Presley wants to reunite with ex-husband Elvis Presley after her death
Priscilla Presley wanted to be her final resting place near her late former husband Elvis Presley
Priscilla Presley revealed her wish to be buried at Graceland, near her former husband Elvis Presley's grave.
The 78-year-old shared while conversing on TalkTV show Piers Morgan Uncensored that she wanted to be her final resting place near her late former husband to whom she was married from 1967 to 1973.
Priscilla said, “My feelings [about being buried at Graceland] are great,” adding, “That’s, you know, what I want and wanted.”
During the conversation with Morgan, when he inquired if Priscilla desired to be laid to rest alongside her former husband, Elvis, she responded affirmatively with a "Yes."
However, when asked if this arrangement would indeed occur, the Elvis star once again replied with a "Yes."
Despite a previously reached settlement agreement regarding Lisa Marie Presley's estate earlier this year, which confirmed Priscilla's burial at Graceland, it's important to note that her burial site will not be directly adjacent to Elvis's.
As outlined in the officially sanctioned agreement, which a judge approved on Monday, Priscilla's burial will be arranged close to Elvis, ensuring that no existing gravesites are disturbed.
Presently, Elvis is interred between his father Vernon and his grandmother Minnie, while the final resting places of his daughter Lisa Marie and her son Benjamin Keough are located on the opposite side of a fountain in the garden.
Priscilla expressed her love for her husband, “Elvis was… I’ve never met anyone like him and I don’t think I ever will again, ever,” adding, “He had the biggest heart. He had a great sense of humour. He had a lot of love.”
Priscilla Presley's settlement with Riley Keough:
It is pertinent to mention here that Priscilla and Riley, who is Lisa Marie's daughter from her previous marriage with Danny Keough, ultimately attained a settlement that also designated The Lodge star as the overseer of the sub-trusts for her 15-year-old half-sisters, Harper and Finley Lockwood.
Their father, Lisa Marie's ex-husband Michael Lockwood, endorsed this arrangement on their behalf.
In addition to determining Priscilla's final resting place, the agreement also confirms that she will receive a one-time payment of $1 million, which will be funded through Lisa Marie's $25 million life insurance policy.
