Katy Perry celebrates daughter Daisy Dove in Vegas residency finale: 'You're my best friend'

Katy Perry, renowned pop sensation, brought her Las Vegas residency to a heartwarming conclusion, with a surprise guest making her debut in the spotlight.

During the final show, Perry's 3-year-old daughter, Daisy Dove, took center stage in a touching and emotional moment.

As Perry prepared to perform her iconic 2008 hit Hot n Cold, she paused to share her love and appreciation for Daisy Dove, whom she welcomed into the world in August 2020 with her fiancé, Orlando Bloom. 

In a touching moment captured by fans and shared on social media, Perry declared, "Daisy! I love you so much. You're my best friend, I'm so glad you're here." 

Daisy, dressed as Minnie Mouse, was in the audience, basking in the adoration from her superstar mother.

As the Vegas residency came to a close, Perry expressed gratitude to those who contributed to the program's success, with special recognition for Orlando Bloom, acknowledging him as "an incredible support system" and "an amazing father."

Katy Perry also shared a poignant insight into her inspiration for the show, revealing, "I created this show after the birth of my daughter, Daisy Dove."

Daisy's impact on Perry's life was evident as she continued, "When I met her, it was like all the love I was ever searching for finally showed up. She made me whole, and she healed me, and she showed me how to play again." 

Perry's performance was designed to evoke the perspective of a child, aiming to remind the audience that seeing life through the eyes of a child offers a unique sense of freedom and wonder.
