Zac Efron would 'love' to play 'Friends' star Matthew Perry in biopic

Zac Efron revealed his feelings about the late co-star Matthew Perry, reflecting on Perry's desire for the Neighbors actor to portray him in a possible biopic.
According to PEOPLE magazine, the Gold actor expressed gratitude for being considered the right choice to play Perry, if there will be a biopic of the late actor.
While walking the red carpet for the world premiere of his new movie The Iron Claw in Dallas, Texas, the Baywatch actor mentioned that he would be open to the idea of playing Perry in a biographical film.
Efron said, "I'm honored to hear he was thinking of me to play him. We'll see. I'd be honored to do it."
Furthermore, The Lucky One lead also shared some warm memories on the set of movie 17 Again, 2009, featuring him and the Fools Rush In actor.
"He was a mentor to me, and we made a really cool film together, I looked up to him, I learned comedic timing from that guy," said the Emmy award nominee of Perry.
"I mean, when we were filming 17 Again, it was so surreal for me to look across and have him be there, because I've learned so much from him, from his whole life," he further noted.

Friends famed actor Matthew Perry was tragically found dead at the age of 54 in his Los Angeles home, on October 28.
Perry was best known for his character as Chandler Bing in famous 90's comic tv show Friends, which was based on 10 seasons.
Moreover, The Numb actor's cause of death was reported as apparent drowning in a hot tub.
