Dua Lipa has shared insights into her upcoming album, which delves into deeply personal themes, exploring the nuances of dating and cracking the authenticity of a partner.

During a conversation on US radio, she disclosed being in a relationship with her current boyfriend, 42-year-old Romain Gavras, since the beginning of the year, following her previous involvement with Anwar Hadid.

The Levitating crooner said, “It's more the different feelings and emotions you have throughout the period of being single.”

She added, “It's also understanding. You understand what you want and what you need and what you deserve,” adding, “It goes from the phase of figuring out singledom into potentially a new relationship.”

Dua aims to drop fresh music by the close of 2023, and her record label executives are making significant efforts to safeguard recordings for the eagerly awaited album, especially following a leak of a song she collaborated on with Pharrell Williams.

A music insider told The Sun, “Dua's third album is really personal to her and she has been hands on at every turn.”

They continued, “She has spent hundreds of hours in the studio and has written on every song — that is really important to her.”

The insider also disclosed. “Dua has been very clear about her direction in keeping it upbeat and fun, but she will be a lot more revealing in her lyrics.”

As per the source, they also suggested potential collaborations on the album, noting that several 'skilled artists' have expressed interest in working with her.
