Jason Mraz admired Taylor Swift's remarkable journey as he geared up to dance to her music on DWTS
Jason Mraz praised Taylor Swift, his former collaborator, ahead of his upcoming performance on the latest Dancing with the Stars episode.
In an interview with PEOPLE magazine, the Have it All singer, who worked with the Blank Space singer at the start of her career, shared how incredible it is to witness her career evolution.
Mraz said, "You want to see any artist do well, especially an artist that you may have crossed paths with at some point, and it's been amazing to watch her career grow from singer-songwriter to global phenom."
"I'm sure it's a high honor for her to see her music themed on this show. And I'm tickled to be on the show dancing to all this music," the 46-year-old singer added.
The Lucky singer and dancer Daniella Karagach will perform an Argentine Tango for their Swift-themed dance on November 21.
The I'm Yours singer's favorite DWTS night isn't just the Love Story singer's week but also he said, "I liked Motown night and I loved music video night. I also loved most memorable year, There's been so many good ones."
As Mraz and Karagach approach the end of the competition on December 5, the Love Someone singer admitted that he sometimes feels "fatigued from the daily grind."
He said, "It's become a day job and that's something I never thought I would have. So I know my partner's frustrated with me for that."
Mraz shot to fame in the early 2000s with his pop tracks, including the smash hit I’m Yours.
