Kate Hudson called her mom Goldie Hawn an "inspiring mother" as she penned a heartwarming wish on her 78th birthday.
Taking to her Instagram on November 22, 2023, Kate shared a post featuring a sweet video, which showcased memorable moments of the duo traveling, sitting by a campfire, decorating a Christmas tree, and hitting the red carpet.
In one clip, Hawn danced on a boat while the Raising Helen actress cheered her on, saying, "look at my mom going for it."
Kate expressed in the caption that her mom is "a woman who is easy to celebrate."
"Happiest Birthday to the most fun, beautiful and inspiring mother. We love you big time Gogo," she noted.
"Join me in using one word to describe what Gogo means to you and shout out a big HBD My word for you today @goldiehawn is MAGNIFICENT," the Almost Famous star continued in her caption.
As soon a she posted the wish, her comment section was filled with wishes, with Lisa Rinna calling Hawn a "Queen," and Vinessa Shaw wishing her a "Happy birthday Sweet @goldiehawn."
Rachel Zoe described Hawn as "The MOST magical queen of love and happiness @goldiehawn."
Prior to this, in an interview with the PEOPLE magazine, Kate spoke about Hawn's significant role in her personal growth.
She said, "My mom has always been an inspiration to me and, in so many ways, the foundation for my values. There's no doubt that I inherited her love for life and all of its experiences, big and small."
The About Adam actress also thanked her mom for letting herself and siblings have "freedom" and "be wild."
Kate stated, "My Mama didn't wait around to get the perfect pic. In fact she has few pics of all of us together because she let us run around and be in the moment. The ones she does are always a little silly, a little blurry, half smiles, half cries, chocolate faces and unbrushed hair."
