Bradley Cooper unveils Howard Stern almost starred in 'A Star Is Born'

Bradley Cooper unveiled that Howard Stern almost had a part in the movie A Star Is Born to portray the character of Bobby .

According to PEOPLE magazine, in an episode of  The Howard Stern Show podcast, Cooper and Stern talked about few things related to the A Star Is Born film’s casting and how the Burnt actor wanted Stern to shave his head.

During their conversation, Cooper asked the radio host, "Did we ever talk about how I asked you to do Star Is Born?," to which Stern responded referring to the movie’s lead actor Sam Elliot, "I’ve never told anyone because I felt bad for the guy who got the role."

In addition to this the director of The Maestro shared that he asked Stern to play the character of Bobby, where the duo seriously considered the idea, even discussing Stern shaving his head for the role.

The 69-year-old podcast host recalled his thoughts, saying, "Whoa, he must think I'm a lot better looking… They’re gonna be like, 'What the expletive, what is it, this movie gonna be like Twins?' I'm Danny DeVito and he's Arnold Schwarzenegger or something? What the hell's going on here?."

"I said, 'I'm gonna go full-on into it. I'm gonna shave my head, I’m gonna change my whole look.' I was really toying with the idea," Stern continued.

Bradley Cooper's highly anticipated movie Maestro, directed by himself  was released on September 2, 2023.
