Dutch translator gives insights on royal family member name controversy in 'Endgame’
Omid Scobie's book 'Endgame' ignited controversy after revealing names of royal family members alleged to made racial remarks about Harry and Meghan's son

Omid Scobie made an appearance on a television program on Thursday, confirming that an inquiry had been initiated at the publishing house responsible for translating his book into Dutch.
The writer of Endgame refuted allegations of revealing the identities of the two senior royals in his manuscript.
Additionally, a close friend of Meghan and Harry, Scobie expressed his dissatisfaction with the scandal, emphasizing its impact on the monarchy.
He appeared to attribute the responsibility directly to the Dutch publisher, indicating, “I never submitted a book that had those names in it.”
However, there's a surprising turn of events as the Dutch translator has maintained that the titles of the senior royals were present in the manuscript she received.
Speaking from her residence in Arnhem, Saskia Peeters conveyed to The Mirror, “As a translator, I translate what is in front of me. The names of the royals were there in black and white. I did not add them. I just did what I was paid to do and that was (to) translate the book from English into Dutch."
The royal family is reportedly experiencing a collective sense of indignation after being embroiled in controversy by the biographer of Harry and Meghan, beloved members of the monarchy.
The family is exploring various courses of action and seeking urgent legal counsel to address the detrimental claims.
