Bobby Deol appreciated Ranbir Kapoor, with whom he shared screen in new film Animal, which was released on  December 1, 2023.

According to Pinkvilla, in a recent interview, Bobby talked about working with Ranbir and praised him for being a guy without any "insecurities."

He complimented the Rockstar actor as "an amazing guy," adding "I love him, I’ve worked with a lot of actors but he gave me a lot of respect, he’s a superstar, and despite that, he dragged me with him everywhere he went to promote the film."

"No one does that, everybody just wants to steal the limelight but he’s not like that, he has no insecurities," Deol continued.

In addition to this, the Housefull 4 actor  mentioned that despite their on-screen characters having conflicts, they got along well.

The star also explained that their shared background of being family-oriented individuals from film families helped them connect in the industry.

Bobby Deol also revealed that they rehearsed in Mumbai for 7–8 days before moving to England, while discussing the intense fight scene in Animal, where they were engaged in violent sequences.

He said, "we had to rehearse a lot because it had to look very natural. When there’s a fight scene, there are objects around you that you can use to hit each other. Here, there was nothing apart from raw power."

The Love Hostel  actor continued that despite the challenging cold weather during action scenes, they enjoyed the process.

He told, "even while shooting, everybody in the unit said that they didn’t know who to root for. I’m glad that something good came out of the tough situation."

Bobby Deol concluded by stating that their collaboration on this project strengthened his admiration for Ranbir Kapoor.
